The right candidate will be based from London and will be expected to build up business in the Middle East. Ideally the right candidate will already have a strong network in the Middle East or at least previous experience of working in the region. Candidates can have either upstream or downstream experience or both.

 

This role requires a real self starter and someone who is strong at developing business from scratch. The rewards will be there for a tenacious and driven candidate with excellent career progression on offer. Responsibilities: -Improve company knowledge of the Downstream market and ensure company is putting itself forward for tenders. -External client facing role to gain and understanding of the market and client needs. -Selling execution solution to internal stakeholders.

 

-Develop effective customer relationships and results in wins for both parties. -Research downstream markets in the regions targeted by the department to gain understanding of potential opportunities. -Assess the chances of being able to win work either on a standalone basis or as part of a distributed solution. -Update the database with information on upcoming projects.

 

-Prepare a weekly report of activities and an updated projects list (sales pipeline). -Assist in review/ preparation of tender response and pursuits. -Assist in presentation of projects to senior management during internal approvals process. Requirements: -Candidates should have experience within the Oil and Gas Industry. -Middle East experience. -Engineering or Business qualification and experience. -Excellent self starter and tenacious attitude.
